We're not here to preach from some pedestal — we're everyday people who've been through it.
Meet the Coach
Dan Richards
Founder, Lead Coach
Life doesn't always go the way we plan. In 2016 I lost my younger brother Jack, and alongside a string of other traumatic experiences around this time, including a relationship breakup, the loss of three more loved ones in unexpected circumstances, all while working in a high pressure corporate job, I found myself facing depression, anxiety, and thoughts that I didn’t want to be here anymore. I nearly lost everything I love. It was, without question, the hardest period of my life.
But it was also where everything changed. Through what I now call my Breakthru’s , I found my way back — not just to coping, but to genuinely thriving. I built a life I'm proud of, and I've since made it my mission to help others do the same.
Today, I live by the very methods that helped save me, and I've had the privilege of guiding many others through their own Breakthru’s — helping them grow, overcome their limitations, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
Did I ever plan to become a coach? absolutely not! I’m just a regular person who found a way out of a dark period and get my life back on track.
Do I have qualifications in coaching? Of course I do, but we all do! I feel it’s my life experiences and no nonsense approach that my clients can relate to. I can show you pieces of paper that tell you what I’ve learnt in a classroom, but more importantly, I’ve been there, I’ve seen what you are seeing and felt what you are feeling.
Away from coaching, I'm a family man first — proud dad to three children, a passionate sports fan, lover of the great outdoors and I spend my weekends coaching junior football, passing on some of the same lessons about resilience, teamwork, and growth to the next generation.
If you're facing your own stuck point, I understand it more than most — and I'd be honoured to jump in the trenches with you, invite you to become part of our community and help you grow, one Breakthru at a time.
It all starts with the first step.
